ANDERSON — A total of 2,457 shoe boxes of gifts were collected this weekend as part of the annual Operation Christmas Child. The collection took place at Liberty Christian School.
The shoe box gifts will be sorted and sent to reach suffering children around the world. Participants filled shoe boxes with school supplies, toys, necessity items, hard candy and a letter of encouragement. More information can be found at www.samaritanspurse.org
