INDIANAPOLIS — An expert in information security will speak at a cybersecurity summit next month in Indianapolis.
Bruce Schneier is an author and chief security technology officer at BT, the British telecommunications operator. He'll give the keynote speech at the Higher Education Cybersecurity Summit set for April 1 in Indianapolis. His topic will be "Security, Privacy, and the Generation Gap."
The event is hosted by Indiana University's Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research.
Center director Fred Cate says information security is a particular challenge for academic, government and not-for-profit institutions.
The free summit will take place at the University Place Conference Center on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
